Cisco/Meraki Distribution Switches - Models MS410-16, MS410-32, MS425-16, MS425-32
The ports on the Distribution Switches are not configurable in CNM. All of the ports on a Distribution switch require a SFP module in order to connect data cables to the ports. The Distribution switches connect to the firewall and to the Access Switches.

Access Switches MS210-24P, MS210-48FP, MS225-24, MS225-48FP
The ports on the MS210 and MS225 Access Switches are Configurable in CNM. See the Access Switch Ports assignments below. The Access switches are connected to the distribution switch and to the patch panels. The patch panel ports then lead out the Computers, phones, audio/visual devices, and wireless access points.

Switch Menu Options
- Rename - give the switch a meaningful location name (ie Floor 1 Tech Room - top switch)
- Ports - Opens the port configuration page below
- Blink - Blinks the little light on the switch to locate the switch
- Reboot - Power Cycles the switch but does not delete any configurations
- Remove - Removes the switch from the network.
Access Switch port configuration
Port Assignment Definitions:
- Disabled - Switch port will be disabled and not usable
- Guest - for guest wireless users
- IoT - "Internet of Things" - energy-saving smart devices (lights, sprinklers, HVAC controllers, Cameras, Temp Sensors, etc..)
- Server - Servers that are located in the temple
- Spare - Spare Firewall or Spare switch for failover purposes
- Temple - Temple Network devices, workstations, printers
- TempleAv - Standard Temple Audio and Visual devices
- Tenant - used to provide internet access to other firewalls or ISR's only. No end user devices, IoT devices, management interfaces
- Utility - BMS (building management system) devices
- Voice - IP phones
- Workforce - Full time Church employees
- AP (Auto) - auto detected Wireless Access Point
