General Conference on iTunes

#1

Post by glenmarkdanielsen »

Hi everyone. New here. Not sure if anyone reads these message boards. Is there anyone out there who craves availability of General Conference on iTunes? I’m wondering about access to the Church Audio-visual Department. Do they regard input, feedback, concerns? I think General Conference availability on iTunes if beyond a good idea—it is important. It’s something the Church should absolutely do, and make it retroactive to 1974. Please let me know what you know and what you think.
Cheers, Saints! :)

Hi Glenn,

I don't think there's an official podcast solution, but I built a personal one for the Spring 2024 general conference that you can use. It's at https://rss.clayson.io -- go to that URL, choose what days you want conference talks to be added to your queue, and then copy the Podcast Feed into your iTunes or other podcast solution.

I hope it's useful!

Just wanted to let you know that I have used your link and it has worked great. There was an issue for a few days where nothing come through, but I think it had to do with my app because a few other podcast feeds were affected and then they all updated at once (including yours).
Please do this again next Conference, if the Church chooses to continue declining to publish a podcast feed.

Hi Dan,
To clarify, i am asking about the Church posting General Conference talks on iTunes / Apple Music. Not as podcasts.
